It's 1950, and our young hero Bily is in a quandary. Desperate to please the girl of his dreams he's doing anything that he can to raise the money to take her on the date of a lifetime. But things just don't seem to be going according to plan. Meanwhile,
in the present day, things aren't looking too good either. The church
hall that has existed for 100 years is about to be closed down and a cut
price supermarket looks set to move in. The appearance of a mysterious
stranger might be our last hope - and the last hope for Billy too. |
