'Allo 'Allo

Laura Short and Linda Mayes

Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft

Synopsis
“Allo ‘Allo!” is a stage play adaptation of the popular British sitcom of the same name, created by Jeremy Lloyd and David Croft. Set during World War II in the fictional French town of Nouvion, the story centers around René Artois, the owner of a small café. René is caught in a comedic whirlwind of hiding a valuable painting, “The Fallen Madonna with the Big Boobies,” from the Nazis while simultaneously being involved with the French Resistance and various schemes of the German officers.
The play features a colourful cast of characters, including René’s wife Edith, the bumbling Lieutenant Gruber, the zealous Herr Flick of the Gestapo, and the incompetent Captain Bertorelli. Filled with slapstick humor, mistaken identities, and double entendres, “Allo ’Allo!” is a farcical romp that captures the essence of the television series, delivering laughs through its exaggerated characters and situations.
