Synopsis
The family favourite panto Aladdin is a magical and comedic retelling of the classic Middle Eastern folktale. It follows the adventures of Aladdin, a poor but kind-hearted young man who dreams of a better life.
Aladdin falls in love with a beautiful Princess but their romance is thwarted by the evil sorcerer Abanazar, who tricks Aladdin into retrieving a magical lamp from a hidden cave. Inside the lamp is a powerful and comical genie who grants Aladdin three wishes. With the Genie’s help, Aladdin wins the Princess’s heart, defeats Abanazar, and brings prosperity to his family and city.
Our Panto is filled with slapstick humour, catchy songs, and larger-than-life characters, including Aladdin’s over-the-top mother, Dame Twanky, and his mischievous brother, Wishee Washee. It’s a delightful mix of adventure, romance, and comedy, perfect for audiences of all ages!
