We're running a competition to design the backdrop for the opening scene of our 2017 Panto - 'The Three Musketeers'. The winner will also receive a family ticket (for 4 people) to the pantomime in January 2017.

The backdrop is for the opening scene, set in the Town Square of a busy French town. It needs to include a pub called 'The Frog's Legs', as that’s quite important to the plot.Remember that this is panto, so make sure that your design is bright and colourful. It doesn’t need to have vast amounts of detail as the audience will be looking at it from 10 metres away.

We'll then take the winning drawing and use it as the base for the backdrop, which will be painted onto a 4m x 5m scenery backdrop.

You can enter this in two ways:

• By sending a scanned copy of the picture by email. Make sure that you title your email 'Panto Competition Entry'.
  

• By post to Lovelace Theatre Group, C/O The John Godber Centre, Ogle Street. Hucknall. NG15 7FQ.
